Reston, VA: Sep 24, 2020 Karthik Consulting, LLC (KC) today announced that it won a prime contract to provide Technology Risk Analysis Services (TRAS) for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC). NAVFAC’s mission is to formally accept or reject the system risk posture through the implementation of TRAS and associated enterprise risk tolerances; based upon specific cyber requirements for Facilities Related Control Systems (FRCS).
Under this task order KC will provide risk analysis and systems/cyber engineering support required by NAVFAC to secure the FRCSs and IT systems for a successful completion of the RMF. KC’s support pertains to systems and ashore FRCS, including but not limited to: Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Direct Digital Control (DDC), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Corrective Maintenance and Logistics System (CMLS), Control Systems Platform Enclave (CSPE), Facility Engineering Command (FEC) installation(s), LES (Logistics and Engineering Support), Operations and Maintenance Engineering Support (OMES), Host Based Security System (HBSS); Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM), Unified Facility Criteria (UFC), and Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS). Part of this effort includes lifecycle management policy, guidance, oversight, and direction for operational technology (OT) command, control, and communications‐computer systems, to include technology insertion, policy and procedural development, operation and maintenance engineering support, and RMF implementation, standards provisioning, architectures, integration with specialized technical skills and subject matter expertise.
