Reston, VA March 26, 2021: Karthik Consulting, LLC (KC) today announced that it has been awarded a 3-year prime contract to support the Acquisition Systems Branch (ASB) within the Office of Acquisition Workforce and Systems Support (AWSS) division. ASB’s mission is to support the CPO by providing the DHS acquisition workforce with eProcurement systems and tools which leverage investment costs and promote competition, integrity, and consistency.
KC will provide Information System Security Officer (ISSO) support services for the OCPO’s portfolio of systems and electronic tools. The scope of support under this contract include 1) research, analysis and recommendations on current Government and industry IT security best practices, standards and requirements; 2) services supporting the IT Systems Security (ITSS) program for OCPO’s systems and tools to include Unclassified Local Area Network (A-LAN), Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) (B-LAN), and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) (C-LAN) solutions; and, 3) supporting ISSOs of other acquisition related systems.
KC’s scope of work includes Project Management; ITSS/Continuous Monitoring and Diagnostics (CM&D); CFO Audit Collaboration, Coordination, and Response; and CIO Authority to Operate (ATO) / Ongoing Authorization (OA) support for several High Value Assets (HVAs) and CFO designated financial systems.
