Specialist offers expertise in ISR and IT operations pertaining to A2/6’s missions. Guides decision-making and strategic planning, leveraging familiarity with AF doctrine, operational needs, and technical aspects of ISR and IT systems. Prior advisory role experience within the defense or intelligence sector is highly valuable.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Advanced Programs Division (AF/A2/6LZ) is responsible for
- liaison with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, AF/A5/7 Air Force Futures, and MAJCOMs for EMS-related capability development and requirements
- liaison with SAF/AQ, MAJCOMs, DoD laboratories, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, and industry to advocate for the integration of advanced technology into EMS-related programs
- liaison with SAF/AAZ to establish the EMS Special Access Program Office and to plan for access management. AF/A2/6LZ champions EMS-related program requirements throughout their lifecycles and serves as representative to the Joint Air Dominance Organization (JADO). AF/A2/6LZ supports research and development technology transition into Air Force capabilities to enable mission success in complex electromagnetic operational environments.
The contractor shall develop and draft responses, presentations, papers, and reports, as needed, to support communication of EMS superiority capability development plans and actions to stakeholders inside and outside the Air Force.
The contractor shall develop and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access management plans, including HAF-level policy and guidance, in coordination with ACC/A8ZW, to provide SAP logistics support for MAJCOMs.
