| Responsibilities | • The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for management of server infrastructure, roles, and any associated incidents. Must have experience with managing Active Directory and server operations in a large distributed system. • Functions include Deploy/upgrade of core components, software and scheduled configuration changes in support of the identity services and roles and other critical customers. • Responsibilities include; initial setup, bare-metal imaging, managing infrastructure roles, patching, deploying and upgrading software, configuration changes, AD mgmt., GPO requests, Account management requests, and certificate management. • Design and build AWS infrastructure components • Integrate infrastructure components using automated scripting • Build automated deployments using configuration management playbooks and recipes. |
| Knowledge & Skills | • Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain a Secret clearance • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience • Experience with Amazon Web Services • Must have or be able to obtain AWS Certified Solution Architect, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator • Demonstrated experience in security solution design using existing and emerging technologies to achieve enterprise solutions • Experience working with Security Authorization requirements, developing and enhancing the security risk posture, and analysis and reporting of IT security metrics • Experience working with IaaS and virtual desktops • Experience working in a mixed Linux and Windows environment • Cloud Monitoring Tools (Nagios, Cacti, CloudWatch, Gnaglia, etc.) |
