| Responsibilities | • DevOps Engineer will need to have strong knowledge of DevOps tools and processes that enable configuration baseline management, CMDB Ownership • The candidate will ensure Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment controls and processes are followed for application code releases into non-production and production environments • Candidate should have strong experience implementing the appropriate change release management methodologies and processes. • Candidate will be responsible for configuring DevOps processes and tools to support the application developers. • Candidate should possess strong communication and reporting skills with emphasis on keeping release items on track and schedule |
| Knowledge & Skills | • Experience with AWS and/or similar cloud service provider Experience with Linux Experience with Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript and R languages Experience with HTML and CSS front-end development, using JavaScript (e.g. React.JS) frameworks • Experience with public cloud storage and database solutions Experience with OpenShift, Docker, containerization Candidate should have ability to learn new techniques and technologies quickly • Support and maintenance of large commercial off-the-shelf software installations • Working in a fast-paced 24/7 operations shop - responding to and identifying potential and active issues and determining a course of action • Designing, implementing, and supporting service provider (xSP, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, MBaaS, etc.) environments • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using Jenkins or similar CI tooling |
