Jim Annulis has 25+ years of experience working on large-scale projects, with expertise in the biometrics industry and deep knowledge in cybersecurity, cloud architectures, and product development. He has a unique blend of technical and business skills – with experience in all architectural layers, including web services and interfaces, business logic and microservices, data architecture, networks, interfaces to third party apps and devices (including SaaS), and UI/UX. His experience includes the migration of major systems from on-premises data centers to modern cloud platforms. Additionally, he has supported business opportunity pipelines – helping to identify, track, and respond to RFPs/RFQs and RFIs. He has collaborated directly with customers, has negotiated and managed contracts, and has estimated and managed budgets and schedules. Mr. Annulis has performed work in accordance with various methodologies – including Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevSecOps. He has decades of experience working on federal contracts, especially at DHS (IDENT, which is the agency-wide biometric system; and Coast Guard’s enterprise Software Factory).

Jim has a Master’s degree in Computer Science and B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering Science. He holds certifications as an AWS Solutions Architect Associate and Sales Accredited Partner, in GitLab Partner Foundations, and as a SAFe DevOps Practitioner.
