Asim Malik is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of leadership experience driving federal IT transformation, program delivery, and strategic growth. As Vice President of Federal-Civilian Programs at Karthik Consulting (KC), he leads business development, corporate governance and compliance, and delivery excellence across Federal / Civilian agencies.

Known for his calm leadership style and strategic mindset, Asim specializes in building and scaling Program Management Offices (PMOs), establishing governance frameworks, and aligning strategy with execution in high-stakes environments. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Growth Officer at Sure Secure Solutions and held senior leadership positions at XL Associates and Lockheed Martin, overseeing Information Technology (IT) / Operational Technology (OT), cybersecurity, and modernization portfolios valued at more than $100 million and leading capture efforts that secured major federal contracts across DHS, NARA, NASA, and EPA.
Asim also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at OPEN Washington, DC, supporting entrepreneurship and leadership development across the DMV region. He holds a Master of Science in Project Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University and completed an executive program in Artificial Intelligence at MIT Sloan School of Management. His certifications include PMP, ITIL Expert, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).

Outside of work, Asim enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and traveling the world with family and friends. He has a deep appreciation for exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and discovering great food. He also enjoys playing cricket, badminton, and tennis.
