Program : AF ISR Digital Infrastructure Transformation Support
Program Scope & Description:
Support the Air Force ISR Digital Infrastructure Transformation by improving execution, synchronization, and mission-aligned decision-making across data, automation, AI, networks, cloud, enterprise services, and cybersecurity efforts. Includes battle rhythm management, ETMS2/TMT tasking oversight, executive front office coordination, weekly reporting, cross-functional synchronization, workflow improvement, and leadership support required to maintain alignment, accountability, and execution.
Position Overview:
The Operations Lead provides senior-level operational support to Headquarters United States Air Force A2OI by integrating leadership priorities, tasking, reporting, and execution activities across the organization. This role translates leadership intent into action, synchronizes civilian and military staff efforts, maintains visibility across ongoing efforts, and helps ensure leadership remains informed, prepared, and positioned to make timely decisions. The position requires strong judgment, executive-level communication, responsiveness, and the ability to influence execution across multiple teams and stakeholders without formal supervisory authority
Work Environment
- Work Location: On-Site, Washington DC
- Security Clearance: Must have TS/SCI
- Salary Range: $145K- $165K
Key Responsibilities
Operational Integration
- Translate senior leadership guidance, priorities, and decisions into executable actions across the organization.
- Provide day-to-day operational integration support to civilian and military personnel to maintain alignment with mission priorities and leadership intent.
- Maintain visibility across ongoing activities, competing demands, and execution dependencies, and proactively initiate actions as requirements emerge.
- Anticipate requirements and initiate actions proactively to support leadership objectives.
Battle Rhythm and Task Management
- Design, maintain, and refine the organizational battle rhythm to align meetings, deliverables, decision points, and leadership engagements.
- Oversee ETMS2/TMT or successor tasking processes to ensure tasks are received, assigned, tracked, and completed on time.
- Maintain visibility into suspense dates, ownership, task status, and execution risks, and enforce accountability through follow-up and escalation.
- Review tasking responses for formatting, administrative completeness, and leadership-readiness before submission.

Leadership and Front Office Coordination
- Coordinate and prepare leadership for engagements with senior Air Force front office stakeholders and other high-level participants.
- Ensure materials, actions, and follow-up efforts remain aligned with higher headquarters priorities and emerging requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to support clear communication, timely responsiveness, and coordinated execution.
- Support leadership in managing high-visibility interactions and related action flow.
Reporting and Organizational Effectiveness
- Direct the development, coordination, and submission of recurring organizational reporting, including the Weekly Activity Report.
- Standardize reporting practices and workflows to improve clarity, consistency, and efficiency.
- Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and emerging issues affecting mission execution and implement practical improvements to workflows, coordination, and communication.
- Serve as a central synchronization point for ongoing initiatives, emerging priorities, and organizational actions.
Organizational Effectiveness and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and emerging issues affecting mission execution.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Management, Organizational Leadership, Communications, Political Science, International Affairs, Government, a STEM-related field, or equivalent experience.
Professional Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP), optional
- Certified associate in project management (CAPM), optional
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, optional
- Security+ or other relevant certification, optional
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in executive operations, headquarters support, organizational integration, program management, operations management, or similar functions.
- Experience supporting senior leaders in government, defense, intelligence, or other high-visibility mission environments.
- Experience managing battle rhythms, executive tasking, reporting processes, and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience working with ETMS2/TMT or comparable action-tracking platforms.
- Experience translating leadership priorities into executable actions across multiple teams.
- Experience operating effectively in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and compressed timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Headquarters Air Force, Air Force A2, DoD, or Intelligence Community headquarters operations.
- Experience serving in a chief of staff, executive officer, action officer, strategic integrator, or comparable headquarters support role.
- Experience coordinating with senior military leaders, SES personnel, and higher headquarters staff.
- Experience managing Weekly Activity Reports, executive updates, or similar recurring senior leader reporting.
