I. Program Overview

Program Description

This program supports the Air Force Element of the Intelligence Community (AF IC) Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Data Officer (CDO), Authorizing Official (AO), and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in governing, managing, and advancing the AF IC Information Environment across the full spectrum of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations. The effort supports the AF ISR Digital Infrastructure Transformation by providing professional management, systems engineering, technical assistance, staff coordination, and execution support across governance, strategic planning, enterprise architecture, capability portfolio management, performance and risk management, cybersecurity, cloud, networks, data and analytics, automation, and mission integration. The program is designed to help the Government synchronize people, processes, and technology to deliver software-defined capabilities at the speed and scale required to support Air and Space Force intelligence operations.

Program Objective

The objective of this program is to provide integrated operational, management, and technical support that enables the AF IC CIO/CDO/AO/CTO enterprise to modernize and sustain the AF IC Information Environment, improve decision support, strengthen governance and execution discipline, and accelerate delivery of digital infrastructure capabilities aligned to mission and strategic priorities. Success is measured by effective support to governance and planning activities, timely and accurate staff coordination, improved visibility into actions and priorities, organized stakeholder engagement, and the ability to help the Government execute transformation initiatives, manage risk, and maintain operational alignment across the enterprise.

Program Scope

Includes operational coordination, stakeholder synchronization, action tracking, meeting and workflow support, staff package preparation, knowledge management, task management, briefing and memorandum support, governance support, strategic planning coordination, leadership support, and related execution activities in support of AF IC CIO/CDO/AO/CTO responsibilities. The program also supports broader enterprise transformation efforts across ISR digital infrastructure, including coordination related to cybersecurity, risk management, enterprise services, identity and access management, collaboration, networks, hybrid and multi-cloud capabilities, DevSecOps, data management and visualization, automation, and emerging technologies. Contractor support may take the form of reports, analyses, recommendations, documentation, briefings, plans, and other operational support services required to help the Government execute daily activities and strategic initiatives.

II. Position Overview

The Operations Integration Lead provides execution-focused operational support to help organize team activities, drive follow-through, coordinate across stakeholders, and maintain visibility into ongoing priorities, actions, and support requirements across the AF IC CDO mission environment. This role is intended to strengthen team effectiveness by bringing structure, coordination, and disciplined execution to daily operations, recurring engagements, leadership actions, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position supports action management, stakeholder coordination, meeting preparation, follow-up tracking, workflow organization, and leadership visibility across mission support activities. The individual in this role should understand the intelligence and Air Force mission environment well enough to operate effectively across the enterprise, but the role is not intended to serve as the primary deep technical authority. Instead, this position helps ensure that meetings result in clear actions, stakeholder coordination occurs on time, priorities remain organized, and leadership has an accurate understanding of status, dependencies, issues, and required next steps.

The Operations Integration Lead works across leadership, action officers, mission partners, program personnel, and functional stakeholders to support execution discipline, improve internal coordination, and help maintain continuity of operations in a fast-paced environment where timely response, accountability, and organized follow-through are essential.
